I offer consultancy rooted in more than a decade of empirical research on political participation, social movements, far‑right politics, and democratic change in Europe. My clients have included the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the European Climate Foundation, and local NGOs in Spain, Slovakia, and Hungary. I work with organizations that need rigorous, independent analysis to inform program design, evaluation, and strategic decision‑making.
Survey design and statistical analysis
I design and analyze surveys and survey experiments on political attitudes, behaviour, and participation, including multi‑country studies. This covers experimental survey designs, statistical modelling, and data analysis for impact evaluation and monitoring and evaluation (M&E) frameworks. Typical outputs include questionnaire design, fieldwork supervision, statistical analysis, and written reports that translate results into clear implications for program and campaigns.
Democratic quality and democratic challenges
I provide research‑based analysis of the quality of democracy and the challenges facing democratic institutions, parties, and civil society in Europe. I also work with organisations to develop and assess strategies that support pro‑democracy initiatives and strengthen democratic resilience, for example by informing programme design, advocacy, and citizen engagement efforts.
Political participation and civic engagement
I offer expert input on citizen engagement, protest repertoires, civil society mobilisation, and the relationship between institutional and extra‑institutional politics. This helps organizations understand how social movements and civic actors interact with parties and state institutions, and how programmes can engage or support them effectively.
